Send the intake, drop the watch at the Maui office by appointment, or ship it in with insurance we help arrange. You get a signed receipt the same day it arrives.
Movement, case, dial, serial. Once we are satisfied it is what it should be, we propose a target price backed by recent comparable sales, and a commission. Nothing goes live until you sign off on both.
Our first calls are to dealers on the mainland who ask for this reference by name, then to private collectors we have sold to before. Your watch stays in the vault, insured, for the whole listing.
A buyer commits, funds clear, you get paid. Bank wire or USDT, on the day of sale, at the price you approved, less the commission you already agreed to.
Both routes are legitimate. Which one wins depends on the watch, on how quickly you need the money, and on how much market noise you are willing to sit through.
You wait, but you take home more. Weeks or months, sometimes days on the hottest references. You carry the risk of the market moving while it is listed. Works best on watches collectors actively want and less well on ones they merely tolerate.

Rolex is the reason consignment works. Demand is thick enough on the Daytona, ceramic Submariner and GMT, gold Datejust, and most vintage references that we can usually find a serious buyer inside a month.
Where consignment shines is on the pieces where the outright number would sting: 116500LN, hot references at retail-or-above, unpolished vintage sports. Patek is where consignment beats an outright offer by the widest margin. Nautilus and Aquanaut are the obvious names, but Calatrava, Perpetual Calendars and Chronographs all sell well when the buyer is a Patek buyer, not a generalist.
