Yes. A short hold (typically 24 to 72 hours) is arranged by phone or email. Longer holds are possible for higher-value pieces where the buyer is arranging financing or an international wire; the specifics are negotiated case by case.
The price is firm on any piece we have in inventory. If the market moves significantly (rare, but it happens on hot references), we may adjust the listed price on unsold inventory. Any hold we have agreed with a specific buyer honors the price at the time of the hold.
Yes. In-person inspection at the Maui office by appointment, or a video call with the piece on the bench and the shop camera rolling. Inspection happens before payment, not after. If the piece is not right for you at inspection, no fee, no obligation.
We do not double-sell. Once a hold is arranged, the piece is off the market for the hold period. If you have not asked for a hold and the piece sells to another buyer, we let you know and offer to source a comparable reference through the dealer network.
This list shows what is currently in Honolulu, authenticated and photographed. Occasionally we have pieces that have arrived from the network but are still being authenticated, not yet listed. Ask about a specific reference and we will tell you honestly whether we have or can get it.
Real-time. When a piece sells, it comes off the list the same day. When a new piece finishes authentication, it goes on the list within a business day of the finished check.
