Nehoa Time started in the mid-2000s as a wholesale watch operation. The original business was simple: buy watches from dealers in Hawaii, sell them to dealers in New York, Los Angeles, and Miami. No storefront, no website, no consumer brand. Just a network of trusted relationships, a loupe, and a phone.
Twenty years later, the network is the same but the reach is wider. We still buy and sell between dealers (that wholesale operation runs through a separate portal for verified dealers). But we also work directly with individual owners who want to sell, consign, or trade luxury watches, and with buyers looking for authenticated pre-owned pieces from a source they can verify. Downtown Maui office, by appointment. Same team, same authentication process, same dealer network. Now open to everyone.

No net-30, no check in the mail, no waiting for a buyer to materialize. You send the watch, we verify it, you get paid. That is the whole process.
It is what we do before we write a check. Every piece is authenticated in the Maui office: movement pulled or timegraphed, case inspected for originality, dial and hands checked against the reference database, serial cross-referenced. The process is filmed on the shop camera so there is a visual record tied to the serial number. We have been doing this for twenty years; the process predates the website by more than a decade.
Full declared value covered end to end. We send you a prepaid, insured label. You pack the watch, drop it at FedEx or UPS, and it is covered from the moment the carrier scans it until it arrives at our office. If you are local, you can bring the watch in person by appointment. Either way, the watch is covered.
We give you a number. A firm number, not a range. If it works, great. If it does not, no hard feelings. We do not call you back the next day with a revised offer. We do not send follow-up emails trying to nudge you. We do not play the game where the first offer is low and we 'find more value' when you push back. The number is the number. If the market moves and you come back in a month, the number may be different, but that is the market, not a negotiation tactic.
