Omega Speedmaster Professional Mark II 145.014: Racing Dial (Shiny)
This is the same 145.014 as its matte sibling, a 1974 Mark II with the “racing” dial, but here in the glossy gilt finish. The warmer shine reads noticeably different in the light, so it is a real alternative rather than a copy.
The Mark II reworked the Moonwatch’s chronograph into a tonneau case with the tachymeter on an internal ring under a flat crystal, a design that has become a value favorite in vintage Omega. Inside is the manual-wind 861 driving the three-register chronograph, and the contrasting minute track is the detail people look for.
If you like the Speedmaster story but want something less obvious than the round Moonwatch, the Mark II delivers. We authenticate everything before listing. The matte version is also available (see related). Make an offer below, or see it in Maui by appointment.
