Omega Speedmaster Professional Mark II 145.014: Racing Dial (Matte)
This is the 1970s take on the Moonwatch, and this 1974 example has the “racing” dial in the matte finish, with the orange minute track and bright accents that collectors look for.
Where the original Speedmaster is round, the Mark II moved to a tonneau case with the tachymeter printed on an internal ring under a flat crystal. It has aged well and reads as very much of its era. Under the crystal it is pure Speedmaster: the manual-wind 861, the same movement family as the Moonwatch, driving the three-register chronograph.
